Detail Gallery has moved to 54 Baltimore Avenue, in the heart of downtown Rehoboth Beach. We are directly across from Aqua and Mark Showell Interiors. We are now situated among the great galleries, shops and restaurants lining Baltimore Avenue, and within 2 blocks of the beautiful beach and boardwalk. Our GRAND RE-OPENING was Saturday, May 10th. This day coincided with the first monthly Rehoboth Beach Gallery Walk, sponsored by MOSIAC. MOSIAC is a collective of 11 fine art galleries coming together to highlight the emerging art scene in Rehoboth Beach. The Gallery Walks will take place the Second Saturday of every month starting in May 2008, from 6 - 9 PM. Detail Gallery has some great new artwork and merchandise for you to see and experience. We welcome you to visit our new location, or check us out online! Our Grand Re-Opening on May 10th was a HUGE success, and we were able to welcome back many old friends, and make many new ones. The NEXT GALLERY WALK will be Saturday, June 14 from 6 - 9 PM. Detail Gallery is highlighting an exhibit entitled “Animals In Art”. The gallery has an eclectic mix of paintings, collage works and photography featuring animals. Examples include finely detailed portraits of animal ancestors by painter Cynthia Burke, whimsical dog portraits by photographer Cami Johnson, collage pieces of bunnies in distress by artist Sarah Ogren, and mixed media dog paintings by artist Kelly Puissegur. 10% of proceeds from artwork sales during the gallery walk will be donated to the Delaware Humane Society.
